My thoughts

Since being diagnosed with PM and knowing that possible recovering is going to take a long time, I haven't given up Faith.  I haven't felt as if I won't get better.  I truly believe that God has a plan for me and that I will improve.  It may take a long time or not, but I will do my part and work with my doctors.  I love life.  I love the Lord and I have things that I need to do, such as go back to school, see my daughter get married and help her raise her babies with a positive outlook on life.  God chose me for this for a reason and I will not questions him.  Yes it is sad sometimes, but that is just my mind and emotions doing their own thing.  I will be okay.

Without faith, there\'s no reason to keep on keeping on. I believe that for every aspect of life, and you have the right attitude to beat this disease!

One of the things that I am noticing is that I seem to cry a lot. I can be watching something on TV and will start crying. I don\'t feel depressed, but it seems as if my emotions just take over. I know the pain is really bad and that sometimes cause me to cry until it can decrease, but this other crying is weird.

Thank you. I need hugs right now. In fact I needed hugs before I was diagnosed. With all the crying that I can\'t seem to control a good stronge hug always works. I couldn\'t understand why I keep crying and was talking with with sister last night who told me that it is the Prednisone. I try not to let my daughter see me crying because she worries so much about me, but now that I know it is the Prednisone I was able to let her know that it is not depression or anything.
