My Thanksgiving present - gastroenteritis!

So, in my part of town, apparently a very virulent strain of stomach flu has been scourging the area.  My BIL had it, SIL, nephew, and other SIL.  So, of course, for the past few days, when I did the business and saw it was green, I thought "Oh, no...here we go!"  FYI: Bright green poo usually means it's passed out of you so rapidly, it hasn't has time to change.  It's from the bile in your liver, and would be normal if it didn't rush out of you like a greyhound.  Hey: I gave you ample warning.
Yesterday, I kept feeling hungry, but in that sort of "Do I want to eat, or does my tummy hurt?" way.  By the time we left for our trivia league I was like "Yeah, not feeling super hot.  Probably wasn't going to have more than 1 beer anyway - now I won't have any."  We ordered dinner at the bar, and the thought of anything fried made me sick, so I got a salad.  I ate about 5 bites. I was also drinking a ton of water.  I started getting sick (both sides) and it didn't stop until about four this morning.  I thought I was going to die - dehydration is AWFUL.
I feel better today.  I was praying I wouldn't be all explosive and gross this morning because I have an u/s in half an hour.  That would be great, wouldn't it?  I still feel like I have a bad hangover, though, but my body's keeping the water down, so I am happy.  I am pretty sure I will never drink anything but water again.  Seriously that dehydrated.  I also hope that didn't affect the lady business at all.  I managed to get all my injections done in between bouts of violent puking, so I hope that did what it's supposed to.   I guess we'll find out.
