My Sweet Sweet Son!!!
I was able to attend the Annual Balloon Fiesta in New Mexico. Oh my The Beauty I experienced as one by one and more and more filled the hot air Balloons. All the Beautiful Colors floating against the bright blue sky. as I stood there amazed at the hundreds of Balloons, the Colors mixing together and the opening of the bright blue sky, I could not but help but think of Ken and of what beauty he is be holding. If we are given by God the changing of the leaves to the beauty of man made products what we see on this earth is nothing compared to what Ken is seeing. As a smile and tear ran down my face knowing that we only get glimpse of the beauty our children are having. After 28 months of seeing my son's body ravaged by Cancer...the pain in each step he took, finally to loose his ability to talk or walk or barely think, what glory awaited him on the other side. I can not help but miss him so much my heart aches but knowing no more pain for him knowing the beauty he sees in the Glory of God, I should not wish him back but I am his mom and we mom's we do and will..this year I will view the leaves in a different way. I will send beautiful colored balloons to Ken and give him my love, but I know what beauty I see here can not be compared. Till we are together again My Sweet Sweet Son, I will continue to miss you love you and know we will be together again. Until then I will see the beauty of the leaves, the white glistening fresh snow. The blue of the sky and the ocean while I will remember nothing compares to what you are experiencing. Love you forever, mom

Beautiful pictures and your comments remind me of the movie What Dreams May Come. It is a difficult message but one that I think is important. Peace, Kathy
I am thinking of you. We had a balloon release as well for Vinny\'s birthday last week. Something about all of those balloons flying to Heaven can be comforting. I know how much you miss him.
HOPE...YOU HAVE GIVEN THAT TO ME TODAY....HOPE ...KNOWING I WILL SEE MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER AGAIN....AND YOUR SWEET SWEET SON IS WITH MY SWEET SWEET DAUGHTER. ..THAT MAKES ME SMILE. .MUCH LOVE TO YOU TODAY....VICKI
Grateful you could be a part of such a healing experience. I was able to ride in a hot air balloon with my sisters of the heart at the Park City retreat in Utah and it was AMAZING! So peaceful...
Knowing how much your Ken is deeply loved and sorely missed and we are the ones left to manage and they are in BLISS. I have to believe this and do...
Loving care,
XO Joanie
Friends of mine went to the Balloon fest also, they posted pictures on FB so I understand the beauty to all the balloons. Our kids get to see all the greatest things, I do hope they enjoy things as much as we can here on earth.

Sandi, thank you for sharing this beautiful and heartwarming experience and the great pictures. I was up there in a hot air balloon with Joanie and other SOTH a couple of FMO retreats back. It was truly amazing! Maybe you should try it also one day for the full effect of nature\'s awesome beauty.
My folks live in Albuquerque so I try to get out west as often as possible around the balloon fest time.
Take care dear friend!
Much love and hugs,
Diane
