My story
Thanks everyone who read and commented on my story. It really helped to write it as I'm having some of those feelings myself. It's like one moment you're fine and the next you're not. Just today I discovered two bags of potato chips on the shelf that my husband brought. I remembered him being so excited about the new flavors. Somehow I just can't eat them. Sort of weird, I know.

I know what you mean. I ran across my husband\'s billfold today when looking for the manual to the lawnmower. I smiled (amongst tears) when I found it, remembering the time he bought it while we were on vacation. I can\'t throw it away...don\'t know what I\'ll do with it...just keep it to remember him by. I cried the rest of the day though. You\'re not weird for not eating the chips....I understand perfectly!!! (((HUGS))) Cathy
I know the feeling also. It is the little things that sometimes hit the hardest and I dont know why. I still have some of my husband Christmas stocking stuff in my living room. I see it and cry. The Christmas candy is old now. I just can no threw it out. Any want an old candy canes?
