My son try to commit suicide again
My son try to commit suicide again after getting out of Linden Oaks Hospital, by laying on the train tracks. Luckily, a police officer saw him, and pulled him off. He went back to Linden Oaks Hospital again for 4 days and now he is out again. This drama is killing all of us.
However, we told him he can go to this nice Hospital in Wisconsin for a month or leave. (Recommend highly by the staff at Linden Oak. ) That's the two choices.
This is hard for us! But what else can we do. We being doing this for 7-8 years now. We done everything and our mental and emotion health are waning. My wife, luckily for me, is a very upbeat person, it's nice waking up to somebody that so cheerful regardless of the events.
Anyway, now, he has to save himself. It's his choice. If we let him stay, he'll just do the same thing. In the last 3-4 weeks he missed seeing his court contacts 3 times in a row. Stole a book out of a
store and got caught by the police, and this was after getting release from Cook County Jail just
a weeks ago. He also sold my wife's laptop recently as well. I could go on here , but
that serve no purpose.
I am very tire of this punishing life he gives me, and he has never tried to help himself. We feel his pain and it seeps into every fiber of our being.
Tying our life to him, no matter how much we love him, is like tying ourselves to a boulder. We are just drowning in his pain. We know no matter what we do or how much we love him or cry about him, nothing will be able to help him anyway. He needs to do that for himself.
It's time to Let go of pain! It isn't easy but we love him and done all that we possible could do.
