My Son

First of all a little back story- My son has autism spectrum disorder and has developed PTSD. Has explosive moods when he gets really bad.  His bad was nothing  like last night. The way he was talking last night was like he was one of these conspiracy people. Everyone was  against him especially the teachers, and principals. He became violent, threatening, out of control, and  I almost could not control him. I have to commit  him at least in a short term inpatient  facilty  there is no way around it. There is a place that will take him right now the problem it is to far away for  me to get him there. I am working on a medical transport for him,but I am not sure how much it will be. Iam trying to find  a place closer hopefully  I will find something sooner. I missed work today because  I was afraid  he would  either hurt himself, his lil sister,or his grandma or someone else.  I love him but  he is becoming  more unstable  to himself and his family. I wish I can get him to the facility so he can get help.   For now I have to keep calling people and see how I can either get him  to that place,or a a place near us problem  hear where I live they mostly have substance abuse  places not places for teens  with mental disorders  especially as  severe  as his mental  unstability.

It sounds like you are having a bad time with your son., could you call your doctor and explain what's going on, I don't know where you live but do you have a social worker that could help or maybe a hospital someone needs to help just tell them he is a danger to him self and others around him,
Sorry I can't be more help.

No that is good advice I didn't think about a social worker maybe I can get either help from them or they can recommend someone that can help him That is helpful I appreciate that.

I second littlechef. Social worker/therapist is a good idea. Family doctor should be able to help as well. If it's really dangerous, don't just let him hurt you or other family members. You can always call 911 if it gets bad. They are trained to assess and help in situations that may be out of your control.
