My selfworth and blame

I can remember how strong I use to be. How vibrant i was. Excited to be my own to be someone I was proud of.

Yet. All these year it seems that I been questioning my own self worth and blaming myself for my decisions when things dont go right.

I know its not my fault i know everyone makes their own choices and outcome changes. I cant help but keep blaming myself that i just wasnt strong enough or should of saw it coming.

I know i shouldnt be so hard on myself.

Hey I urge you to please see a therapist! It is easy to get lost in negative self talk (I am a master of it myself) and your own inner voice often is just the worst. You need to recognize it and don’t let it talk to you like that!!!!

I’m sure there are a ton of really great things about you that you aren’t even acknowledging right now. You need to write al those down and keep that list close! It helps to think back to times you made other people smile, or you helped others, or think about compliments you have received. These are all things that my therapist had me do and it has helped a lot. But really, please get a therapist and be as open and honest with him or her as you can!!!

Also, try to get outside and go for a walk, and call and talk to a friend or family member, even if you don’t want to. You’ll be glad you did!!

Awesome! I’m so glad your starting therapy! If you do write down negative thoughts, please also imagine how you would respond if your friend just said that about themself. And write down that response as well! We are MUCH harder on ourselves than we are on those around us.
