My prayer: Its not always about me
Lord, help me to be selfless. Help me to keep my peace and joy, especially in a time when I have so much to be joyful for. My heart rejoices for you being God, alone. Lord, help me to rejoice in blessings and remind me when I loose focus of what’s important is that its not about me, its about you. Only what I do for Christ will last. I thank you God for giving me my moment that I’ve been waiting for. It may not seem like much to others, but it means the world to me. I thank you God for giving me discernment and revelation. When I encounter others who are selfish and can’t rejoice in other’s blessings my prayer is that you give them a heart of selflessness. God I pray that you surround me with selfless and genuine people and remove those that mean me harm. In Jesus name, Amen.

Life is funnyIm learning that just b/c some people are family does not always mean they act like it. And I recall those things my mother taught me that I will pass to my child. You will be blessed to count 5-true friends in your lifetime. I thank you God for being their when family and friends has fallen short. I thank you God for calling me friend. God help me to be the best daughter, wife, mother I can be following a Christ-like example.
