My plans

Well I went to a meeting today and met some great people.  Someone who is at the same step in the process as I am.  Hoping we can become friends and maybe do this journey together.  I have been doing a lot of thinking and after 2 pm mountain standard time I will have time to think a lot more.  I'm a little scared of the rf ablation and the complications that might happen but at the same time this procedure is supposed to help me be pain free for six to twelve months.  Hopefully by the time the effects of this procedure wear off I will have had the surgery and be losing weight taking pressure off my joints.  My back is just killing me.  Top it off I woke up this morning with terrible pain in my side and went to the doctor and was told it is one of two things.  Either I have some scar tissue from my gall bladder surgery that has flared up, or I have a kidney stone that is needing to be passed.  I would think that if it was scar tissue it wouldn't have just suddenly flared up and radiating from one place.  Anyhow before I go to get the ablation tomorrow I have an appointment with the surgeon who removed my gall bladder to see if it is scar tissue flared up.  I'm not sure what they can do if it is but we will see.  All I know is that it hurts and hurts bad.  My husband is going to be home tomorrow but will have to go out again the next day so my mom will come in to help me until he gets back or I'm feeling good enough to take care of myself and my son.    Then next week my husband and I are traveling to Boise for a seminar on the surgery and to get registered for the surgery so that I can get my first appointment with the surgeon and really get things started.  I just want things to start getting better and lately I feel like it is one thing right after another.  I'm tired of breaking down all the time I want to be free, to be able to walk, clean my house and enjoy my little boy and I am certain this is the way to go.  I have decided to face this head on and one of the things that really seem to get people down after the surgery is the plateaus.  So I have decided that plateaus will happen and more than once so when they do happen I will take it as the chance for my skin to tone up and catch up with the weight loss.  I'm so ready for this that I can actually see it happening.  I will get through all that is ailing me right now knowing that in the future I will be a healthier happier person.
