my parents are expecting too much from me!
My mom wants back surgery on pinched nerve. My dad has 2 j tubes , they both want me to take care of them. And their dog died this wk an r getting a new one. They want me to take care of all things and take care of me, bipolar lady. I don't know if I can do it. My sister has no kids but I do. It's going to be to hard for me. What should I tell my mom? She is the type who needs attention a lot. I don't know what to say to her? Help!

How long do they want help for? A short period, or a long time? If it were me, I\'d say ask the other sister. And under no circumstances would I consider a new dog. That\'s just out of line really.

Its hard cause they dont understand bp and they dont think my sis is a alcoholic. My dad wants me to take care of him and ma wants me to do the same. Yet, as being the oldest, they only trust me with certain things. I am the one who does all the dirty work. My sis gets the easy work. And I feel bad, like they dont really trust me, see, they took me out of the will. I really dont want any of their stuff.. I dont want their money. Not at all. I would like them to use thier money now for what is needed. It should be used that way. I just dont understand them. My sis is a loud mouth. And I am tired of being stepped on by her. Even if I ignore her, she has a way of worming her life into mine. She will even use my boys . She is very evil. And my parents dont see that. I know from the past how she is. I just want nothing to do with this. I want to wipe my hands of this mess.
Angie, I don\'t understand why your parents would take you out of their will? Is it because they are using the money now? Could they hire a caregiver?
My dad took me out of the will, but my mom says I am partially in hers. My dad took me out because of my bipolar. He is old fashion thinking that I am a crazy person. Its working out now cause I talk to her yesterday. I just told her truthfully .
so your father takes you out of his will because you\'re a \'crazy person\' but not your alcoholic sister.
I think the sooner your sister has to go and look after that lot, the better. :D they can finally see what they have reared.
And then maybe dad can work out that bipolar isn\'t a sanity issue, it\'s a mood issue.
