My Own Bucket List

The more I think of my bucket list the bigger is my smile. I am so glad I joined DS! It has indeed made a difference since Day 1. A few days ago, while corresponding with Malacon (who is having a huge impact in my life right now), laughing at SST stories and inspired by Nanc56's comment about the getaway for a weekend, I decided to create a new goal: Be Happy.  I was feeling down, alone and lonely, trying to understand why my life took a direction that was not in the map that I clearly outlined and followed each step. The bottom line is that I had to realize the hard way that I am not in control of anyone's destiny. I can only guide, advise and hope for the best. The only world I am in control (and not always) is my own. So, with this in mind, I decided to start my Bucket List. My focus is to create and follow on a regular basis, what makes me smile. This will not disregard my daily responsibilities but ease my day.  I trully believe that dreams can become a reality. A dream is created, steps to reach that dream are aligned, the dream becomes a goal, after following the steps the dream becomes a reality. I just have to stick to it and make it happen -as long as the dream is tangible and not pharaonic. Here is the list I started and I am still working on the draft: 1 – look for my dear friend's e-mails in DS (you know who you are!)2- plan a trip to London # 23 – read 10 pages of any Madeleine Wickham’s books4 – clean the clutter – 30 minutes a day5 – have a tall latte at Starbucks6 – make my salad at 1:00pm7 – have tea at 5:00pm8 – slow dance (this will be a hard one! Even my pillow is rejecting me now – haha)9 – find a new chick-flick to watch and cry – very romantic and silly.10 – start wearing the clothes I liked so much when I bought them
