A collaborative effort on a narative piece between me and Pfizer against insurance companies denying us what the doctor ordered was finally printed in our local paper! http://www.idahostatesman.com/opinion/story/622326.html
Yes, for the expense. And the insurance co. doesn\'t even checked to see if the patient has already tried the cheaper ones they want them to try. That is what happened to me. They are such idiots. I had already tried the cheaper drugs and they didn\'t work, I needed something stronger. They made the doctor write out a long dialog why I needed it and they still turned me down. What they are doing is illegal. They are not my doctors. They don\'t know my history. They have not seen me. They don\'t know what I have taken and what works and what hasn\'t worked. What they do is so wrong in so many ways. They caused so much pain and grief for so many people for their bottom dollar. They work for us... we don\'t work for them.
Actually I get a lot of them free through www.pparx.org. I have saved thousand of dollars this way. I was recently approved for Humira and will be getting that free as well. The others I get at a major discount at Costco. As a member I get an even lower cost than those with insurance. I don\'t have insurance anymore and I\'m better off in most ways except when I need tests.
