My nights are my days!
Because my husband works nights, my days are at night! I wake up anywhere from 2pm to 4pm! Today I cleaned up doggy deposits and his toys so that I could mow the lawn. My husband has two jobs and lately has been working over time! Which means I am doing alot of things myself that he did or did with me! Can't be helped. And even though I am hurting cause my body got unused to mowing the lawn, I feel good that I was able to complete the job! I took some Aleve so I will be great tomorrow! I hope! LOL! Going over the nursing home to help in-law try on some close I shopped for her. I sure hope some fit her and that she likes what I got! Boy I tell you if I ever make it to 90, I'm gonna wear house coats and moo moos every day! She has so much trouble getting dressed! It's an accident waiting to happen! At first she only wanted some smaller blouses cause she shrunk alot! But then she noticed I wore skirts alot and she wanted them too! It might be easier for her to get both feet in than it is for her to aim for two legs in pants! She was appologizing the whole time the other day when nothing I brought fit right! ANd she thought seh had to be wearing me out! LOL! If she's tired she thinks everyone is! Is'nt that nice! Before the strokes she thought that anyone younger than her should have no ailments and lots of energy! LOL! She has been a sweet joy and I feel bad that she has to stay there. But she is getting good care there and the only real bad thing is she gets lonely. And one of the residents stole a banana from the bunch I just brought to her! LOL! I went with her to the dining area to get her to eat by telling her I was going to eat with her! And when I went to get a drink out of the machine I noticed a woman eating a banana at the opposite end of hall where my in-law's room is. I thought to myself,"wouldn't it b funny if that woman stole it from my in-laws room!" And guess what? It was her banana! the peal was in the trash can next to her bed! LOL! I told a nurses aid about it but made sure she understood it was a resident and not an employee! And really no big deal! I told my in-lw I would bring her more and that she should keep them in a draw! Nothing else seems to have been touched. She had juice boxes in draw and they were still there! Well if it gets bad we will get her a locking cabinet to put her things in. I have discussed this with my husband and he agrees he will bring her one if that is the case! Well I am getting way too tired sitting here typing so I hope all are happy and safe! Good night or good day to all! : )
