My next stage is coming.

My friend/hiking buddy/lifeline/savior the past year (the psychologist) is moving away in 3 weeks.  And even though we'll still be in touch via Facebook, I'm a little anxious about it because I'm finding this next stage a little frightening.  It means I'm going to feel alone again.   The rest of my friends have much more of a busy schedule than I do, so what this means is that when I want to get out and do something, I'm more likely going to be by myself.
Am I ready for that?  Yep.  I'm stronger, more confident that I've EVER been before.  And she has taught me to get out there, open myself up for more socializing, showed me that it's up to me to build up my network of friends more, but still....
Man, I'm gonna miss her.

I\'m all for letting absolutely nothing stop you. Just make sure you have a well charged mobile phone with you at all times.

I would be very introspective if I lost my training partner right now... she\'s really the only crazy up for anything friend I have at the moment. Everyone else seems like such a stick in the mud! I\'m so sorry.

Maybe you will meet a new pal?

You are ready! It is time for a new adventure. I have a hunch you will be fine and it will bring you out even more.

It\'s tough to \'lose\' a friend. I have made one very special friend since my break-up, and I will be moving away in a few months.....I\'ve lived in this town for 15 years, have a network or friends, even one of my sons lives here, but I will miss her MOST!
The people that pick us up when we are down, support and love us, kick our buts when we need it...they are irreplaceable. So don\'t think about replacing her. Because you won\'t. But you can and will meet new people to fill the void.
She had been a blessing. Be grateful for the time you had - you\'ll be okay. She taught you that right? Best
