MY NEW NURSE
Hi Journal,
I had a visitor this last week,
a very special visitor at that.
This very special and most welcome visitor was,
non other than my new nurse no less, Nurse Sandra,
very nice she is too.
Nurse Sandra give me a check over,
then gave me a good talking to about,
the importance of having plenty of roughage in my diet,
as well as in keeping my fluid intake up,
now that the hot weather is upon us.
Blood pressure was checked, both seated then standing,
we continued to chat till she was almost,
late for her next house call.
So a new era begins,
with predecessor, Nurse Janet,
being a hard act to follow,
Nurse Sandra made a most impressive and assertive start.
She did indeed.
I am happy to say, I think I'm in good hands.
