my manic monday

which amounts to other people's boredom...
"usual library", though not really, since the only visitor to my old and news place came in and sat next to me, to check his own internet stuff---though at least i was able to use his cell phone to check verizon for internet and phone plan.
69 dollars for phone/internet combo, when it was 49 dollars before i moved, and 59 dollars offered when i was ready to move; so another wait for internet.
yoga class; was glad i wasn't lone man in class; interesting sight of woman in front of me with lots of tattoos, including on top of her foot.  Kinda painful to sit at the computer right now after some leg yoga positions yesterday.
2nd night to sleep on concrete floor of my apartment, after 50 dollar air mattress sprung a leak, with such things seemingly impossible to patch.  Have been forcing myself to at least go to bed before 10, though I can't fall asleep till after 1, and just eventually collapse around 4 in morning.  Next month to definately get a REAL mattress.
last night stuck thinking of the mistakes I made by trying to be nice to ex-landlord: when one of his scumbag workers stole my 1960s/70s back issue magazines, he did reimburse me, though I thought by too much so I gave him back some money---though such stuff goes up in price, and would cost lots more if I would eventually buy them again online.
Today read at library that the homeless shelter that was in building where I lived has now taken up a bigger building across the street at that old location---just what the already dead downtown business district needs!  Another good thing I moved: some people at the time thought I was the member of  a homeless shelter.

sorry about your bed. if you lived near to me i would find one for you. i found one for a friend of mine a few years ago at our local thrift store for 20 bucks. it was the most comfy thing i have ever felt. i will send hopeful bed finding thoughts your way!

YES! Try the thrift stores for something more comfy to sleep on.

Yoga should not be painful. You might be pushing too hard.

I remember when I slept on the floor (on a small, thin mat) and it wasn\'t very comfortable! I had an additional problem that you didn\'t face--I was going through menopause! LOL I\'m glad you moved. Everything will work out.

I don\'t really know things work in the States. But here if your income is low enough you can appeal for subsidy by social assistance. I don\'t know if your income is disability or whatever but don\'t they have extra funds so you could get a bed? I don\'t want to stick my nose into your finances. It\'s just that most agencies will give you aprx $150.00 a year for housing needs. However I live in Canada so maybe it is entirely different there.

Anyways so cool you went back to yoga.

thanks everybody.

some leg spreads in yoga are, no doubt, less painful for the women in the class, than for any man, despite my wearing protection.

in less than two more weeks i should have a cloth bed i can afford. till then i at least dont have to share a bed with my cat that has to lay too snug against me, after he spent a year laying next to cats in a shelter cage before i adopted him;)

last night i put a hardcover book in my pillow, to at least raise my head off the floor.
