My life is a rom com? Since when?
So I am moving to an apartment outside New York City next month. I am moving in with my friend Sarah and her friend Matt. I found us a beautiful place in Queens for a steal! Since Matt and I don't know each other too well, we have spent some time together getting acquainted. What we weren't expecting is how "well" we get along.
There is no doubting the tension there. We both acknowledge it, but I am trying to keep it from becoming anything more, at least for now. Why? Why would I push off the first mutual attraction between myself and another man? Simple. We're going to be roommates. I can't afford to jeopardize this, because I need the apartment.
So I spelled it out today that we need to just be roommates for now, but I will be relying on him to help me embrace out life. I think we are at an agreement for the moment, I just am not sure how long it will last (or either of us can hold out). He is a tall, cute, funny, quirky, ebony hunk. It is hard to resist. Any advice?
