My Life here we go.

I need to start this from the beginning since, I believe, it is the main reason I am where I am today good or bad. I was raised in a rural area in southern ontario, the second of 9 kids. We were a poor family, house falling down , farm in a shambles. My father had sveral different jobs, from seeling cleaning brushes to factory work, back to sales (door to door) selling vacuum cleaners. He wasn't a very good role model. My mother was stricken with depression, she was in a mental facility several times for shock treatments at that time, aside from that spent most of her time in bed. My father or mother didn't drink at all in my childhood. My grandmother raised me as best she could God bless her. At 15 years old, our house burned down. The end of our lives as we knew it.  We were seperated and several families took us in. I went into a town with some nice people and it was a hole new world. It wasn't long before I had to quit school and go to work to support myself. My first taste of beer came around that time. It tasted horrible. I poured half of it in the river, but it wasn't long before I was going for another. I never really did like the taste, but I kept on drinking it. The booze continued for a long time. I built my life around it. All my friends drank, if they didn't I probably didn't hang around with them. Going out, getting drunk and asking friends what happened the next day became a way of life. I was a happy drunk, never realizing that people were laughing at me not with me. A lot of years went by and I didn't even think about what was happening to me or my life.
