My latest poem
My Vision, My Voice
Tears flow at will.Inkblots contrivetheir distorted images, savagely exposingmy brutal torment. It is not for me, I suffer. It is for the endless.I can see you hidingin the only placeyou feel protected.I reach my handto you so, so slowly. When, in my heart,I wish to grasp youin my strong armsand run with youfar, far away.I glance at you carefully.I discern your terror.Sweet, sweet child.I see your innocence.I see your beauty.I see your purity.I see that which remains. That which could nothave been seizedby any vile actof perpetration.I shall remain patient.I shall not abandon you.You do not knowI know your pain.It is both visibleand invisible. You do not knowI am your sisterin suffering.I am your sisterin violation.Perhaps, in your time, you shall take my hand.Perhaps not.Hence, my torment.I cannot save the endless.Although I desperately try.
