My Inspiration.
My Chemical Romance is a HUGE inspiration in my life. Their music is beautiful and meaningful. The men of the band are amazing people that i look up to. They help me every day in my life. They make life easier for me.
When i was 17 years old, i was very depressed. I dropped out of school, my ''best friend'' stopped being friends with me and i had no other friends. I would either sit in my room all day long, or go on the computer for hours straight, while listening to My Chemical Romance. Their music has always been there for me. Always. Ever sense i found out about them when i was 16.
Their album, The Black Parade, helped me so much and still does, but theres one song that really stands out to me, its called Famous Last Words. Its simply amazing. I love the way it sounds, I love the words to the song, Everything about the song. i love it. The part of the song that really helps me is," I am not afraid to keep on living, i am not afraid to walk this world alone''. It makes me feel not so alone. It makes me want to keep on living.
I honestly believe that song saved my life. This band saved my life. I truly believe that if it werent for them i wouldnt be sitting here writing this right now. They mean so much to me. Nobody really has any idea.
Lately My Chemical Romance has been helping me so much.. I am so depressed. I have PTSD. I have OCD. I cant stand myself. I cant stand the fact that i have a extremely hard time taking care of my almost 2 year old son. These past few weeks ive felt like cutting even though i have never done it before. But i dont. I cant. All i can think about when i think about cutting is the men from My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Ray Toro & Frank Iero. I cant do that to them, I cant go against with what they stand for. That would make me feel even worse about myself. I just cant.
My Chem is important to me. They help me keep going. Theyre important in my life. Even though i dont personally know them.
This band has saved my life time and time again, and they're saving it right now. I love them. I always will... They will always be my heroes
I wish i could meet them just so that i could thank them for everything they have done for me, and how they have impacted my life in a good way. Because they truly have. Im grateful for those four men and their beautiful music.
