My House is not a Home
I say this because my wife and I had been together for over 29 years with 24 of them being married and without her this House is no longer a Home, just a resting place. The evenings and weekends are the worst. I ask myself daily "Is this is what my life is going to be like"?It can only get better...WHEN????

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose the person you have had as a life partner and true love for so long. My thoughts go out to you and I hope you will find DS helpful. (((HUGS)))
I understand that feeling. When I arrive from work in the evenings there is an emptiness and lonliness. My husband used to play his music and loved to sing and now there is a deafening silence that is killing me. Weekends are worse so you need to find something to do otherwise it is going to drive you insane. As per other friends here in DS they say it is going to get better with time. There is a song that you should here and it gives us hope that someday we will meet it is from Legacy 5 \"Hello after Goodbye\" It is a great song. I hope you have a better day and lots of hugs. Linda
Thanks I\'ll look for that song and one of my favorites that I like listening to while looking at slideshows of my wife is \"Everday\" by Phil Collins. I hope your healing process is going well.
Take good care with a smile.
