My Guitar

My guitar always lifts me up. Just yesterday, I was feeling real down and I wrote a song. This song brought me to tears as I wrote it. It was hard to get through it. But it was so hard for me to write because it was so close to the heart and to what was true and real inside of me. It is my new favorite song. I can't stop playing it. It is a sad song, but it is beautiful. And so special to me. It lifted my spirits up and has lasted me through the next day.
