My goal accomplished

Well I started the morning with a 5K that was second to none (weather wise).  No seriously.  I did very well.  I ran the whole thing which was my goal.  N. ow for you real runners out there, 12 minute miles does not a runner make but I was pleased with it.
Now that was the outstanding part of the day.  It wtent downhill from there.  I was supervising a soccer game and the ex- called.  Seems he's on a date out of town and the ex- gf is coming to get her stuff from his house and he can't make it there in time.  She might "take" some of my sons stuff.  Sooo, instead of subjecting my kids to that, he asks me to guard the house.  Well you got it, I did it.  I know, I know, what was I thinking.  My mother-in-law and the ex-'s cousin volunteered to go with me, bless their hearts.  Well the gf taking her stuff wasn't bad but then when she left she handed me a notebook and said this is for you.  It was all of their love thoughts and a journal of their love affair.  Ridiculous, I know.  It didn't really impact me.  It made me more mad that she thought I cared enough to get upset about it.  Lol. 
Still it was a wasted afternoon!
Oh well, time to move on!
