My Gastro Dr decided to retire.. no notice

So I get up today, and know I have to call in my prescription on my Asacol cause I have only a couple days left.  So, I call the office and they said he can't authorize refills he officially retired today.  I was like WHAT!:?>!? No idea this was coming, and now I can't get medicine.  THey told me to call my local family dr. to see  if they would give me a refill till I can find another doctor.  I am beyond stressed right now, which will turn me into a pooping machine very quickly. AAAAAAHHHHHH i just wanna cry and scream. They should send a letter to let you know this is going to happen, or something. I am scared to go to a new dr. I don't like changes.  I feel so emotionally broken it is terrible.  I pray that the family dr. can refill my medicine.
