My friend the Endoscopy :)

Well, this morning I had another upper endoscopy but this time....NO BANDING!!!!  My doctor said the varacies I have are all flat and on top of that...he even knew who I was (for those of you who have read some of my past entries you might remember that my GI doc never has a clue who I am LOL).  The nurse I had was also very nice and this time, unlike my procedure a year ago, they actually gave me a normal dose of sedative so I don't even really remember the procedure.  Short as those things may be, it's not something I want in my memory for even a split second!  So this is yet another good thing happening this holiday season.   On top of that, my husband is on leave until December 28th....after that he'll be going out to sea more and more so I'll be here alone more and more and just thinking of coping with that is driving me crazy, so the small bit (or big bit to me) of good news I had today is gonna go a long long way in improving my mood.   I also want to take this time to wish each and every one of my friends on here a very blessed holiday season.  I hope that, despite whatever health issues you may all be having, you are found surrounded by love and laughter and know that there is always that light at the end of the tunnel (yeah, I've had more than my fair share of moments where I felt the exact opposite and I'm sure I'll have even more of those, but what the heck, it's the holiday so I try to be optimistic).   You all have been a God send in the past year since I've found this group and I thank you all. Take care, hugs and prayers and Merry ChristmasChelsey Ann and the kitty cats (MEOW)!!!!!
