My first journal entry

This is my first official journal entry, and i wanted to say hello to everyone out there!  My profile has the basics about me, and I will be talking about more of my issues here in my journal and in my support groups.  I am so thankful that I found this website and realize that there are so many wonderful people out there who are willing to help each other out.  it's awe-inspiring to me, and i want to be able to do the same.  yes, i do have my own issues, but i believe that if we all work together, we can do some good.  i'm currently trying to lose 50 pounds.  i've lost 3 pounds so far.  because of back and neck problems, it's hard to find the kind of exercises that i need to do but that will not cause me more problems in the long run.  but i'm open to any suggestions!!  i also have started taking some vitamins and supplements that hopefully will help me out.  One in particular is Chromium Picolinate..i take 800mg a day and it's supposed to help metabolize carbs, protein and fat and help to turn them into energy.  i will definitely have to let you know how that goes.  also taking omega-3, some kind of super-concentrated cranberry fruit in a pill for the urinary tract system, flush-free niacin and one softgel a day of an antioxidant formula that is packed with goodies for you.  i'm hopeful that i can get my weight where it needs to be.  and i want to improve my overall health as much as i can.  i have 2 children who need me.  i'm also at a point where i believe that i don't need my lexapro and vistaril anymore, but i'm kinda scared to just quit taking them cold turkey.  my whole outlook on life has completely changed, and i've put my whole life in God's hands, and for the first time in years, i can honestly say that i am happy with my life.  there are so many things i could write about here in this journal.  i guess i need to save them for later....huh?  i'll have to try to stick to one topic at a time and address that particular issue then.  ok, well....i just wanted to say hi!  oh btw...my name is Angela, but friends call me Angie.  i would love to meet people with some of the same issues, problems, interests, or whatever.  i've been shy all my life, and i have a real problem meeting people in person face to face...so i'm hoping that i can make some truly, wonderful, caring, heartwarming friends on here who understand what i face every day, and i will gladly return the friendship!  thanks for reading....
