My first entry

Today is actually Day 2 of being informed of My Hep. C.  I am going through quite a few emotions ranging from sobbing to totally relaxed (ok well not totally)
I just received my first in a set of vaccinations of hep. A and Hep B.   I had blood drawn to verify everything and in 2 weeks I return to get some results and be referred to a specialist.
I'm not impressed by the Doctor I saw today,  I don't need pity but a little bit of comforting word I would think is not too much to ask.  she basically didn't know what tests to offer and had to run to her office to get her "notes"  and couldn't answer any questions about the vitamins I am currently taking or anything.  More or less she was like see you in 2 weeks so I can pass you off to someone who knows whats going on.  Let me just add as I was explaining why I was there I was tearing up uncontrollably.
well thank goodness i have my PWOC and people who do care.  I still haven't been able to tell Elijah since he is on a 3 day mission,  ugh,  not looking forward to this.  I don't want to stress him out,  but he needs to also get tested and I know he will be worried for me.  I wish he was here to hug me.  thanks goodness I have Arabella to hug and cuddle.    i also have not told my family or his until after all the results are in.  I am praying for a long healthy life,  and if I need treatment to be on the low end of the side effects.  I am also praying for other people who are experiencing this and other lifelong illness.
