My first entry

Well, here is my first entry and I think it might help me to type things out, release feelings and fears and to hopefully get feedback from others.  I have a million questions for someone to help answer on fibro and if any one would be willing to answer some, I would be so very grateful!!  I am meeting on February 8th with my neuro to go over my diagnosis so I know I will get some answers then to my million questions, but I would like to ask them to someone who actually has the condition and can answer first hand ya know?  I had heard the word fibromyalgia before but never really knew much about it, I am so happy now that it can actually explain all the weird symptoms I have been having for years. I always use to tell people it felt like my nerves were on the "outside" of my skin since things hurt me far worse than seemed normal.  I can actually hurt from just rubbing soap on me while taking a shower. When I would tell people about this, they  look at me like I was crazy. Sometimes I felt like I was! I mean I could step on the smallest thing on the ground and fall to the ground in pain and then have it hurt for the longest time afterwards! I would constantly tell my fiance not to play smack my tushie because it would feel like he slapped me as hard as he could. He never could understand it and neither could I, I just knew it hurt very badly. Like I said, the smallest bump would hurt so badly that I use to think it had something to do with my nerves. Doctors just ignored me when I mentioned how things hurt so badly, so I just excepted it as my life. It is so refreshing now to know why I always felt this way, cuz I have an actual condition that causes it!!   The weak muscles, the never any energy, the headaches, the droopy eyes, problems swallowing, gastro issues, etc etc, It now all has an answer and it helps so  much just knowing this!  The pain increased so bad that I finally went to a different doctor in tears and said "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE something is wrong with me and no one does anything about it, please help me."  And now begins my journey.  I am very tired now so I must go to bed.  I look forward to meeting others with fibro, sharing stories, helpful hints and support. Please drop a message, would love to hear from all of you
