MY FIRST DAY!!
I am so so glad to meet all of you. I happened to find this website accidently while I was browsing the internet. For years I have needed a place like this. Yes there are websites for wives of incarcerated husbands but it is not the same. Sex offenders wives are put in a different category than other prisoners even by the wives themselves but it all boils down to the same thing. our husbands are gone for years and years just like theres. they shouldnt judge but they do.Once again I am proud to meet all of you!!!!

Well I am going to turn in for the night. I really do appreciate all of you just being there to listen to me vent. You all helped me more in one day then my \"family\" and \"friends\" have ever done in the whole 8 years that all this mess has been goin on. Well hopefully it will all be over soon. Goodnite everyone and I\'ll be sure to log in tomorrow. THANK YOU so much!
im on here daily through out work and everything its what keeps me sane! I don\'t understand why others judge us we are all in the same boat no matter what crime is committed! hope you had a good sleep
Yep iam normally floating around too this site has been keeping me going for over 3 years now. Iam sorry that you have been judged I don\'t see the point of it we are all going though the same stuff no matter why they are there! I hope we can keep on helping you!
Good evening everyone. I just thought that I would get online to read some of the other posts.Maybe I could even answer a few of them. Yesterday my mood was terrible but after speaking with you all(which was great)my mood has improved just a little. Thank you all!!!
Once again. I am about to log off. I might make it back on in a few hours if I can. Unfortunately I have a court date to get ready for. Not my husband but I told everyone our daughter did not take his incarceration to good. She is now 14 and very angry and aggressive. For the last few days my child has been in a secure detention center.(locked, security guards and bobwire)
Oh no I hope it gos ok...and I hope that she is getting some help! Good luck.
Thank You... I hope and I pray that all goes well for my daughter and also my that when my husband is released we can get our marriage back on track. I miss both of them and I love them both so much they are really the only family I have and they are both gone. But I will see what happens tomorrow. and as for the help.NO she was on medicine because she see\'s things and hears voices but at the age of 12 NY state declared she was an adult and gave her the choice if she wanted to take her medicine and continue to see her therapist and she said NO so 2yrs no medicine but yet she is very aggressive. In NY state ALL kids under 18 have all the rights!
OMG! I thought I had lost you guys for good. For some reason I could not log in for over 3 hours. I tried creating a new account but that did not work. I asked for a new password to be emailed to me but it did not work. I thought you were gone. Then in desperation I tried again and it went through. Thank God! Well I told you all I had court for my 14 yr old daughter. I can only pray everything goes well. I know this case is about my daughter and I should be focusing on her but I hate that I have to walk pass the very courtroom my husband got sentenced in. I MISS HIM but Im o.k its about my child today. I will get back online and let you know how it went o.k Goodbye everyone.....
I hope things go ok for her. That would be hard to walk pass that room but ya gotta do what you gotta do.
fingers crossed for your daughter today
Well I was down at the courthouse with my daughter. I had no choice but to walk pass the room. Another lady was coming out they had just sentenced her husband. I dont know the crime or the sentence length but she was tore up. It brought back memories.I cried so hard. I didnt faint but I couldnt walk. My husband was shackled. He\'s a big muscular man but he shed tears also......I know its been years but thinking of is making me cry, excuse me!
It\'s ok it can hit you when you don\'t expect it. Big hugs.
Hi Nicole, I am glad you found us. This site literally saved my life way back 8 years ago. At that time I had a son and a fiance in prison. Two separate prisons. It was terrible. Since then they took turns off an on going back in, then out. It is an emotional roller coaster that us out here need help to survive. There seems to be every kind of group out there for everything except for families of prisoners. So luckily, just like you, surfing the web,I found this site.
I finally found people who could relate and understand.
At the moment I have no one in prison, thank god, but you never know. Once they are in \" the system\" it seems they end up back in again.. That is a big conversation I have lots to say about, another time.
People really have no compassion for us, or our loved ones in prison. Because they can\'t relate and they are jaded by the media hype. Until it happens to them, and they don\'t realize it can happen at any moment.
And if your person is a sex offender, whether they did anything or not to get that title, you are also looked at harshly for loving them. That too is another huge topic I am passionate about.
You will not be judged here.
I am glad this has already helped you. It sure has for me over the years.
My son has been out 3 years now, and doing well. My fiance has been out almost 8 months. It\'s going ok, but with some major glitches. There is alot that goes on in their minds long after they get out. Prison plays with their heads, it does change them. Some positive things, some very negative. It\'s something that never completely goes away.
I stay on here whether I have anyone in or not because these people are my friends. They have stuck with me through so many things. We help each other. We sure will try to help you.
