My Family Is Driving Me Crazy!

Must be a full moon.  Paul and David have been driving me crazy.  Bad weekend again with David, refusing to do chores, talking back, etc.  We were over an hour late to my little nephew's birthday party due to David couldn't get it together.  Paul was screaming all day and that did not help.  Poor Kona spent all morning under my desk and would not even come out to eat breakfast.  That just pains me!  Then we get to birthday party.  I am outside talking with my mom and David walks out the door and sits and puts his head in his lap.  We weren't even there 10 minutes.  No explanation other than "I'm bored."  We go in, he refuses to talk with anyone, puts his head on the table and feigns going to sleep.  (It is pretty noisy in there as the party was in a fire hall.  All the kids were running around.)  He refuses to eat.  He refuses to talk.  I just wanted to cry.  Out of the blue, 45 min later, he gets up, gets 5 meatballs and eats them and the proceeds to run around and have a good time.  Should I be concerned about bipolar here or is this just typical 12 year old boy?    I just overall had a horrible day and then drowned my sorrows in emotional eating, which did not solve anything.   And Paul does not know when to shut up and just nags!  Paul really needs to get a life somehow.  I need to find happy pills and put them in his drink.  He is yelling and irritable and usually over stupid stuff.  Yep.  Found missing papers in David's drawer.  Yep.  Found the Zune in the bed and he is listening to music instead of sleeping.  Yep, found another empty soda can in his room.  And Paul takes all of this and just blows it more out of proportion.  He even yelled (to me, hopefully David did not hear) yesterday, "Maybe we ought to give him back."  I know this was just kidding, but it was cruel.  When he gets like that, he says cruel things.  He is stuck in this house from the weather.  His business is not doing well.  He has very few friends, no life, no self worth, etc.  But is this my fault?   It got so bad tonight with him yelling (and this was because the remote wasn't working right on the dvr and he missed the first couple minutes of a show due to the president was on.)  I said to him to leave.  He said "to where?"  So he took the dog out.  Then he comes in and acts like nothing happened!  WTH!   David seems more on track today.  He got his homework done without much of a fuss.  I swear, these two feed off of each other.  I am praying that when the weather improves, Paul is out in is garden and David is out riding his bike.  I just can't take it for much longer.  The dog and I just sit in my office with the door closed.  The two of them desperately need to snap out of it.  I just hate all of this and the stress kills me.  I really need the two of them to go away for a weekend.  Sounds selfish, but I really need a weekend to myself and know I will not get it.  I am PRAYING for a work related field trip somewhere.  I can go stay in a Hampton Inn in the middle of the Poconos somewhere for 3 days.  OMG!  Can't remember the last time I was praying for a bunch of fires to happen in the Poconos!  I would have my bags packed so fast!  Maybe I ought to just go by myself.  Indoor pool, exercise room, free breakfast with coffee and even a coffee maker in the room!  Cable tv.  I would bring my Kindle and read 3 books!   I just can't be everything to everybody.  I really need to plan a vacation by myself.  Is it selfish to want to be away from my husband and child for a few days?    Oh yeah, I will miss the dog!
