my dog is stuck under the deck!!!!
been wondering where she is all morning....i thought she was just out wandering the neighbourhood. then i started wondering if she is closer to her due date that i thought and maybe she is delivering somewhere. i got my snowshoes on and did a tour of the yard and her usual haunts calling and calling......
got tired out and went in the house to rest and catch my breath.....thought i would give it one last yell out the door and then start calling neighbours.....and she starts barking from under the deck, somehow she wormed her fat little body under there and cant figure out how to get back out. now she has to wait till hubby gets back to get her out, cause he is going to have to take a part a step or something to get her out......at least we did the last time she got stuck under there. at least that was in the summer, now everything is buried in snow and i cant get to the step that is loose enough to get her out.
the scope is done and over with.....and i came home with a fat lip. it must have gotten pinched or bumped somehow, but it is very tender.....if hubby doesnt behave i'llĀ blame it on him....lol. i go in for the results next week. the oxygen company is coming on monday to test me for the small portable concentrator, that would make going out a lot easier. i didnt volunteer last night at the bllod donor clinic, i think i felt okay but they told me to take it easy and no driving or making life altering decisions.....i had to laugh at that one, so i stayed home and watched american idol.....hubby's thing not mine.
well hubby isnt home yet so i think i will go out and try and dig down to the loose step and see if i can get the crazy dog out and warmed up.....at least with the snowshoeing and digging im getting my exercise today!

Gosh! I sure hope you can get her out!! You know sometimes our critters \"go\" places to have their litters.. I\'m wondering now.
I had a German Shepard that always had her puppies under the front porch steps. Every litter for several years. And she would get ferocious if anyone walked on the steps. I too hope that you are able to get her out.
Sorry about the fat lip ( great sense of humor about it though, blame it on the hubby ;-) ) She will be alright or she wouldn\'t have gone there in the first place or she at least knows that hubby will get her out when he gets home if you haven\'t already.
Hoping that the smalled O2 tank will free you up for more outside activities
I managed to get her out with help from the neighbor, she is no worse for wear. She still has three weeks to go before she is due. We started with her delivery box today....thats where she went last time.
I\'m glad you got her out. Sounds like she is looking for a nice spot. The smaller oxygen would be great, hope you get it soon. I\'m also glad that surgery went well and hope the results are good. Your sense of humor is still in tact so I don\'t think you are worse for wear. lol Wishing you the very best.
buffy is digging dirty great big holes in my garden, thinking she is pregnant or missing boris or both. sooky bitch.
cannot wait three weeks. how exciting. is this the curly coated retriever?
Yeah, she found a long haired black lab mix so the puppies should be interesting!!!!
Very glad you got her out. I\'d be worried for her in the cold too.
You do seem much more upbeat these days. I\'m happy to hear it.
Silly dog has no idea how much trouble she caused!
