My dog died-have not been around

On Sunday, my dog Harvard, of 12 years, passed away from heart failure.  I mourn.  He was my constant companion and the only man who never left me (tho I am sure he would have loved to at times).  I helped dig his burial hole and have severly hurt my left hip-had to do it tho I could not help put the dirt on him.  I thought loosing my home was bad-I now re-cant that statement and cannot fathom loosing a human family member.  It has been a very, very sad and trying year for me.  I did not realize how busy he kept me!  And, when i did not feel good he was always there to warm my heart.  Gotta go...will be back soon-I hope. Going to have facet nerve ablation today.  Ran outta meds and can barely walk right now.  Gotta love "pain Management" Eh?

Nancy,
I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss.
They are not just pets, they are friends, too.
I know you\'re going through a LOT right now, and
it\'s impossible to find the right thing to say
without feeling stupid, but hopefully when some
time passes you\'ll be able to appreciate the time
that you had with him - even though it could have
been longer, at least it wasn\'t much shorter.
If there is anything that I can do for you, even
from far away, please let me know ... I\'ll be
keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for now,
and I hope you feel better soon! *Misa*
