my dad's transfusion went well, he's home, and recovering :)
Hi angel friends, thank you for your continued well wishes, and prayers for my dad, Hunter, and us all. We appreciate you all, very much :) i have some updates here. my dad's transfusions began yesterday evening, he recieved 2 pints. he called my mom before the first one, and before the 2nd one. Holly and i were hanging out with my mom a bit last night, as it was a very hard day for her. We all rallying around here, and all of your well wishes, and prayers, is very comforting and uplifting :) my dad's transfusion went very well. we're so glad, thankful, and relieved :) my dad was discharged from the hospital, around 11:30pm last night. my sister Jenn drove my mom to the hospital to pick up my dad, and gave them a ride home :) Jenn and family had BBQ grilled out last evening, and brought some grilled hotdogs for my mom and dad, along with some potato salad :) it's very nice of Jenn and family :) it was a long day and night.
my dad has an appt. today, follow up/check up. he's sleeping this morning. i'll keep everyone updated on how his appt. goes. Jenn updated us all on Hunter's eye. he's ok, his dr. mentioned he wants to re-check Hunter's eye next week, just to make sure all is ok :) We feel all of your love, care, and support, it's very comforting, and uplifting :)
We're home, resting, with a nice relaxation day at home :) we're all continuing to help eachother around the house :) we're thankful my brother Bobby was able to fix the water hose under our kitchen sink :) it's a peaceful morning, we had breakfast, having some teas, coffees :) my mom and Holly says hi :) We're hanging in there :) keeping on keeping on each day :) wishing us all ,the best of good health, comfort, healing, and peace :) Thank you our dear angel friends, for always being here for us :) We'll always be here for you all too :) Big group warm caring comforting friendship hug :)

Hi Chris and Holly So very glad that all went well with your Dad and Hunter. Prayers do get answered. It is a beautiful morning here today. although it is a bit chilly. It is actually going to be chilly for the rest of the week and they are calling for snow on Friday. Will winter ever end!!! Tell your Dad to rest and enjoy this time off. Transfusions take a lot out of you and he needs to just rest and relax for a couple of days. I am actually surprised that he was discharged from the hospital last night. I know your Mom will take good care of him. Will continue to keep him in my prayers. Hugs--John Debbie and Allie
