My Dad\'s death

It is true my dad died a few days ago. The last few days have been a nightmare of dealing with decisions, extreme emotions, shock and grief -  mine and that of my family members.  Besides the horror of losing my "daddy", he was the back bone of the family for my brother and sister and mom. He provided  a structure and security to their lives and now what? What is  going to happen to them? To me because he made me promise to look after them if he should falter. I am feeling alot of aniexty and uncertainty about the future. God give me strength. with friendship and peace always, Ida.

Ida I\'m so sorry to hear of your loss. I can\'t begin to imagine the unfathomable grief you must be feeling right now. My thoughts, love and prayers are with you. Try not to look too far into the future at the moment - you and your family need to grieve and get through each minute of each day, that\'s part of the process. Be kind to yourself. With love, Emma xxx

Ida, I am so sorry to hear that your Dad died. For now just take it one day at a time and take it slow. My Dad died nine years ago and was a very strong figure in our family, but somehow my Mom was able to gather up her own strength and courage and go on with her life and I had to learn to go on too. I agree with Emma that the most important thing right now is that you and your family go through the grieving process. If you need to talk, just send me a message. God bless!:0)

Oh my dear sweet friend, how my heart breaks for you. I know I don\'t have the right words to give but I do have me. If I can do anything, please, I\'m here. Hebrews 11:6 says He is the rewarder of those who seek Him, so, I know He will strengthen you. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. YOU ARE STRONG, YOU ARE STRONG, YOU ARE STRONG !!!

I am so sorry about your dad. It is a hard time. Let the grief happen though, you will be sad for a while. The family needs to pull together now, not rely on just one person. Everyone looking after everybody, not you looking after everybody. Then you will all be stronger. xxxx

Please don\'t feel the heavy burden of trying to take your dad\'s place and walk in his shoes....your Heavenly Father will lead you and guide you in the way you should go, and what to say and not to say, when, and where you should be at all times....just keep your eyes upon him, and follow his leading guidance by that still, small voice in your heart. Amen!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I don\'t think you should worry about taking care of them so much as just being yourself and giving your time to them when needed. I hope things all work out for the best my friend.
