My College Experience
In this video I speak about my experience in transitioning from High School to College. Four years ago, I found myself at a very scary place in my life: Senior year of high school. Although I was scared about what the future had to hold, I also found myself excited to close one chapter of my life to open another. Four years later, I am honored and overwhelmed to find myself once again ready to graduate and walk across the stage. College has been such an amazing experience for I have made wonderful friends, I have learned more than I could have imagined about my passion (Psychology), and I have also found myself. Through attending college, I have met individuals of all shapes, sizes and appearances and yet I have also met an overabundance of individuals who look past differences and have spread love among one another. For me, this allowed me to come to terms with my cleft, to speak about it, to educate others about it, and to want to help others who were also born with clefts. Going to college gave me the confidence to continue making YouTube videos and to continue further raising awareness about Clefts. I cannot wait to graduate, but I also cannot wait to begin a new chapter!
