my cat racing through my apartment
This morning my cat did his usual over-enthusiastic racing through living room, kitchen, hallway, to bedroom for his food---which I always give him in living room anyhow.
Which is what he couldn't do in tiny apartment I was planning to move to; tiny living room adjacent to tiny bedroom, with only a doorway to separate them.
So, its back to start, in looking for a new place. Though if landlord, who is clueless about my searching, gives me any hassle, the poor cat is gonna be stuck in such a tiny different place.
Grocery store on next street giving away free gourds, now that Halloween is over; I grabbed one this morning for my cat to sniff until garbage day, or to put outside for homeless cats to quiz over.

So the search begins again? Oh well! How old is your kitty? I suppose he could get used to the smaller space but prolly not without some serious catterwalling!
Wish my bldg. allowed pets! I miss having a cat SO MUCH. This is a great place to live in every respect except feline companionship! I would love having a pet, even with the inconvenience.

I forgot this morning to check on grocery store message board that had Xeroxed ad for local apts; will go back and call tomorrow to see if its not some scam. There\'s also an apt building opposite one I checked that has empty apts.
More I think of would-be place the more I think it has just as many problems as where I live now---\"just\" are different problems, especially the 10x12 ? bedroom and living room, and not even enough space in kitchen to lean my bicycle?

another excuse/whatever re my moving are the 4 homeless cats outside my 2nd floor kitchen roof I feed....with last few weeks giving them at least one hot meal; hot water in their canned food. The wind, even in enclosed roof area, was really terrible this morning.
