My bestie's Mom.

My bestie since 1981, sent her mom home to our lord last night at 8:05 central time. It was not as unexpected as my mom, but very sudden. They had her in the ICU overnight and thought they had her stable again and could send her home today. She actually destabilized very out of the blue. They maxed out 3 blood pressure meds and her organs started to shut down. I was obligated to my son's art faire in another town about 20 miles away. I couldn't get there, and Nancy didn't need to have me there. She talked to me when she needed to and had her alone time with her Dad and Mom as they stayed with her until she went home. Nancy doesn't know what to do. She's been her Mom's caretaker along with her dad for several years now. She asked me what she's supposed to do next. I told her go home and sleep until you can't anymore and cry for the same length of time. I told her she needs the release and the rest. It's harder after the first day like that. She will need her strength.
Nancy doesn't have internet access right now, but I am going to have her set up a freebie email account and get her on DS as soon as she's ready. I am also going to suggest her Dad check out DS. I am also going to be there to help her through this from the part of the process I'm in right now.
Prayer is always helpful. Audrey was like my 2nd Mom. I am really having a hard time too, but will be what Nancy needs me to be.
