My beloved boys
Update on my son. After being bonded out I took him to the ER. He was a mess, I had to really pull myself together after seeing him. The only reason I let my other son bond him out was that I was concerned about his condition. I'm glad I did. Severe concussion, affecting his 20/20 vision, hand marks on his neck, which are just now turning purple, multiple abraisions, sprained wrist and knee. Being the kind of mom who doesn't bail out my boys, I don't bring them socks, tshirts, etc. this is one time I realized I needed to step in. He passed out twice in the holding unit at the jail, they had to call in the nurse. Probably should have taken him to the hospital then. Anyhow, I've contacted the DA's office. I'm not sure where this will lead, but I can't just sit back and let it go. I'm a peer advocate, and right now, I don't want this to happen to anybody else.

I know how hard it is when its your kid, but he needs to think what he did to get into this, and how to avoid it in the future. You don\'t want to be one of those moms visiting kids in prison for fifty years. There is a thing about reasonable force, & resisting a LEO is against the law. Have you seen the video yet?

I know and you are so right. Both of them watched the video, and even though they laughed, they knew exactly what the video was saying. I don\'t know if it will go anywhere, because of all you said, I\'m doing this separate from him going to court, I won\'t even go to court with him. He\'s 18 now and I wish with all my heart he gets some common sense with this. Thanks:)
