My beginning with Daily Strength

Hello my name is anxious. I'm not so sure its so much anxious as it is nervous. I have never been online with support groups before. This is something I am really committed to trying though. I have tried the other groups, you know the physical ones. They never worked for me. I honestly gave it my all, but just couldn't make it work. The other people there would talk over me or would never listen to what I had to say. There were always a few certain ones who would dominant the group. They would come in and start the discussion and what ever the topic you had to stay on  point. Once I tried to jump in and talk about what was on my mind that day and they went to the therapist and said something and the next thing I know I'm asked to leave. This is why I want to join an online group, because I believe that there won't be any judgment. I chose Daily Strength because I believe that I can get everything that I need right here all in one place. Emotional support and mental and physical support as well as spiritual support(which is very important to me). I feel that I can get all of this here without judgment. I look forward to this journey with you.

Welcome.
Yes, there will be no judgment here.
The greatest thing is the journals. You can post anything you want and get some great advice, or just encouragement.
Look into the groups here, also. You my want to just look at the things said for/to others before joining.

But, welcome, welcome!!!

Welcome! I was nervous when I joined DS in 2008 too, but over time, I found it was a great way to receive support, and support others as well. I have made many wonderful friends here, and I hope you have the same experience! As Mary said, your journal is a great way to receive feedback, and I think you\'ll find a lot of spiritual support in the groups you\'ve joined. Best wishes, and always here if you need a friend!
