My baby is officially walking!
So as of this past weekend, Ava is officially walking! She is almost 13 1/2 months old. She's been taking 2, 3 steps for a good month now, but constantly falling on her butt and doing the walking/crawling thing. The last week, she was walking like a monkey with her hands on the ground. It was quite funny. She is now walking (upright) room to room and exploring everywhere! She doesn't even want to sit on our laps at bedtime long enough for a full bedtime story because she wants to get down and roam! Thank God we have all our gates installed in our 2-story + basement house. That's definitely a piece of mind because the stairs are the first place she wonders to. I guess I'm in for a whole new chapter lol. Just another reminder how fast she's growing up.
Yesterday she also just cut tooth #3! The top left. The top right should be in any day now. I can't believe she only has 3 teeth still but she's been a bit behind on all her milestones, which is totally fine by me. I have to say, she has not fussed at all with this teething. She's very drooly but no fussiness. My girlfriend's kids all had full mouths of teeth by 14 months. So weird my child only has 3. When the top 2 teeth come in is when they say your baby now officially looks like a toddler. I'm so sad! She eats fine without her teeth, she doesn't need them! Ha, I'm kidding but I just don't want my little baby girl to grow up.
Okay, off to figuring out what Ava should be for Halloween. Maybe I'll have like 3 costumes for her like I did last year because I can't decide! But this year is going to be so fun. She'll be walking!
But again, so sad that summer is coming to an end soon.
