My attacker
I've been MIA for a while. Things have been going well, except for last Wednesday when I was physically attacked on campus by a mentally ill woman. I was taking a walk, sun hadn't set and I just happened to cross her path. She first insulted me, and threatened me, and soon after she began to hit me. I grabbed her hands and asked her to stop; she then proceeded to kick me. I called for help and a couple came and she backed off. She threatened them as well, and eventually walked away. She was gone by the time the cops came. I hated the fact that someone like her was walking the streets, and could at any moment hurt someone else. I was in shock for a while. I saw her again a few days later, and the cops didn't come in time to catch her. I hated thinking that she would never be found.Later that night, she assaulted someone in a convenience store accross the street from where I live. She was taken in and sent to the hospital's psychiatric ward. I was called in to ID her picture. I felt sorry for her since it seemed life hadn't been good to her at all. However, I was reliefed that she was locked up and couldn't hurt anyone. I had never been attacked before, it was a very scary, ugly feeling. I feel lucky that the situation wasn't worse that this.

oh, im so sorry. pysch patients can be pretty scary. im glad you\'re ok though. and don\'t feel bad for ID-ing her, you helped send her to a pysch ward were she can get treatment, think of it as a good thing.
