My Anticipated July 4th was RAINED OUT.
this is me hollering NO FAIR.
I was SO looking forward to going to Kathy's (my BIL'S niece) house for BBQ and fireworks, but we had rain and my sister and BIL decided not to go. They were concerned I would fall because I do badly even on dry land and Kathy's entrance is treacherous. (That's where I fell last Thanksgiving.) I felt angry and envious that they were going--but in the end they stayed home too!
I did watch the Wash DC's celebration and fireworks on TV.
Am hoping to put out enough love vibes--or at least friendship vibes--to get a boyfriend. Two little "nibbles" recently. At the supermarket last week an older dude (but quite cute) that has spoken to me sometimes, actually asked me for a HUG! Way to go! And last night after I did my laundry I was sitting briefly in the lobby and met a Hispanic man who was going outside.
Therefore, I am boosting up my Get a Boyfriend goal!

Judy, it rained here, too on the 4th but cleared up at night. I just watched the fireworks out in front of my apartment so had my own celebration. I found since moving here at this 55+ community I\'m friends with more of the male species than female. There are more males here so I guess I\'m lucky in that sense or they are just hard up! LOL
No rain here but just super hot. Didn\'t see any fireworks since I live in the country and they are banned here. Can\'t remember what we were watching on TV.
Doesn\'t matter what the guy looks like as long as they treat you good.
What a bummer you missed the party but probably it was the right decision. I heard fireworks but did not see as we are surrounded by trees and I was not about to drive to town. Lazy me!

I like your goal. We were driving when the fireworks went off. Didn\'t see to many but it was nice. It\'s a shame your party got rained out. I hope there is another reason for her to make a bbq.
On Friday at 12:00 Noon in the other building we are having our Cook-Out for the apt. complex. They call it a cook-out, but we eat indoors! Go figure. Anyhow, last year they had delicious burgers with onions, baked beans, potato salad, drink, and dessert. It will be JULY 10TH so is really late to celebrate the Fourth, but better late than never!
