My dog

To all of my friends who sent messages/hugs about my dog, thank you so much..She was an eight year old chihuahua..I got her when Taylor was a year old. They grew up together and yes she was family. She lived inside, she slept with Taylor every night. She was very spoiled and will be missed..I still dont know what happened to her.I told her goodbye yesterday morning and came home after work and found her dead.We buried her in the backyard..Taylor is taking it really hard..I am such an animal lover but sometimes wish I didnt have any pets..you get too attached...Her name was Sugar.

Poor Sugar, at least she didn\'t suffer. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember when I lost my dog I took it very hard. I had her from when I was ten till I was twenty. I still have a picture of her above my bed. BIG HUGS

What a hard situation - how is Taylor handling Sugar\'s absence? That is the one thing about pets, it hurts so much when they pass away. So I really understand it when you wrote that you sometimes wish you did not have any pets, as you get too attached. I feel the same exact way - it is a very strong bond the develops with a pet.
I am glad you were able to say your last good-byes and give Sugar a burial.
I think I would prefer that (natural circumstances)rather than having to put an animal to sleep.
I am thinking of you
