My 12 yr old siters beakdown

So my 12 yr old sister locked herself in my dads room and wouldnt come out. She just kept yelling she was sad and upset and was never coming out. My stepmom asked me if I would go over and try to talk to her and find out what was wrong. I have a way of getting her to open up to me and thought I would give it a shot. I got her to let me in and she was laying on the bed all upset. I asked her what was wrong? At first she kept saying "nothing" but I finally got her to talk to me. She said that "she didnt want me to try again for another baby because she was scared that this would happen again and she didnt want to see me go thru this again".. What in the world do you say in a moment like this? I sat down next to her and told her "Yes this could happen again but there is also the chance it wont. Ill never know if I dont try. What happened to Max was an accident and the doctors will watch me and the baby alot closer next time to try and prevent something like this from ever happening again." she said "But what if it does happen again and your sad again?" I told her "I will ALWAYS be sad that Max passed away and he will ALWAYS be a very special part of my life. I love him and miss him so much, but I would like to have another baby someday. Max will never be replaced and will always have is own special place in my heart but I dont want to give up on bringing home a baby in my arms someday rather than in a box" she said "she was scared and doesnt want to see another baby die". I told her "that her mom lost a baby and then had 2 more healthy and alive, aunt Robin lost 2 and now has 3 children all healthy and alive, My sister lost 2 babies and now has 2 children healthy and alive. Sometimes bad things happen to good people but its not a reason to just give up. I cant give up on my dream of bringing a baby home and I need her to be there with me the whole way thru good or bad".She was so excited about Max and would always tell me how special he was to her and how much she was going to spoil him. She said this past chirstmas she couldnt wait untill next christmas and she was going to take lots of pics of Max's first christmas and she was goin to come over all the time and help me take care of him and she was going to be the best babysitter ever. I was so into my own self pity all this time I didnt open my eyes to see how this hurt the people I loved and the people that loved Max. Its not the same pain as I went thru but he was special to alot more people than just me. He really was such a loved lil boy. Max was very lucky to have an aunt like her and Im sure he is watching over her like he watches over me. I pray that she makes it thru all of this with me and one day her and I will have my new baby, healthy and alive to tell the story to of his/her big brother Max and how much I wanted BOTH my babies!
