It seems as if no one does a journal much anymore. I guess it's too easy to facebook or twitter. Now I am in my 60's but I have kept abreast of things somewhat. But I can't keep up with things as rapidly as they are changing.
I do have a very basic cell phone so I'm barely in the 21st century but compared to those of my offspring and nieces I might as well be in the stone age. Their units are sooo much more sophisticated ....and expensive. I may be stubborn but I refuse to sign a long term contract and pay $70 or more each month. Mine costs me $15 a month. It doesn't give me all the bells and whistles but it is sufficient for my needs. I don;t begrudge the young folk their fancy phones....I just don't see how they can afford it. Oh well, they are all without other obligations so I guess that's how they do it.
The other thing that I think is a really stupid idea is 3D TV. You have to wear the glasses and then you have to keep up with them. I have a hard enough time keeping up with the remotes. The possibility of losing the glasses, breaking them, or not having enough for everyone is too high, I may be wrong, but I don't see it taking off. I'm usually wrong though. Time will tell.

I agree with the 3D tv. I disagree with you adamantly about your phone. I\'m old too, haha, 55 yrs old AND I have an iPhone and it is the handiest tool I\'ve ever owned and worth every penny. Most of my family and friends are busy and out of state. This is how we keep in touch. It is the handiest device and holds all of my interest on a wide variety of subjects. I\'m a tech geek....always want the newest version because there is more and more stuff we can do. What I hate is using my PC at work. Microsoft, ick! For people tracking the peak flows....there is an app for that. :-) It isn\'t just a phone....it is a computer in your pocket. I rarely use it as a phone, in fact! I much rather text someone.....it is fast and direct.
Sorry for my rant.....I\'m very much lovin\' my technology.
