Mt Vernon
Hi All I went to Mt. Vernon on Fri, even though it was a rainy day I still managed to have fun. I got free tickets from the library through an adult reading program. They gave coupons out for different businesses and Mt. Vernon was one of the coupons. So I got to see the inside of the mansion and the grounds.
The 2nd photo is a key to the Bastille in France that was given to Washington by the Marquis de Lafayette.

Mt. Vernon is amazing, and historic, the home of George Washington,and so much history, and views from there, and all of the wonderful sights to see :) Your writings, and pictures brings us right there with you in spirit :) We're so happy you enjoyed a great time ,enjoying the tour :) Your pictures are wonderful : )Thank you for sharing with us :)
