Over the last 4-5 weeks I have slowly gotten worse. The muscles in my bowel were not working together, making it harder to go. Then the muscle weakness & numbness in my legs. The worse for me was the numb tight band around the bottom of my chest (just below my boob's on where the bra strap goes around) I could not move those ribs so taking a deep breath was impossible. My doc gave me the high dose steroids, they worked my bowel was back to normal & that tight band was gone. The bowel problem came back after a few days (I think that is my most hated symptom next to the breathing difficulty). Then this past Wed. I was in so much pain through the night before. On Wed morning when the PSW came around to get me ready for the day I told her I did not want to wash up. Only to get my itch cream on & DO. Get dressed & get me in my chair. The pain was nerve pain.
