MRI Update.....

Well, today I had my follow up MRI to the one in December where they found what turned out to be a Cavernous Malformation in my brain when they were checking the pituitary tumor status.  The first words out of my doctor's mouth when he walked in were "It ain't good..."
In just three months the Malformation has doubled in size........guess that explains the increase in severity and frequency of the migraines.  I've also noticed that when I get really fatigued my muscle control drops off to the point that writing is almost impoosible and trying to take a bite of food and keeping it on my fork or spoon is questionable.  According to my doctor the malformation can cause MS like effects........
When I asked him what his recommendation was, he stated his recommendation is to address it now (surgery) while we're still in the optimal (elective) stage.  The last thing he wants is to get a late night call from some ER and have to face it in a less than optimal exercise where time becomes an essential element........
The sooner the better.  I already have the hip replacement scheduled for April 23, which is over a month away and he sees at the least a month after that before I could proceed with a major surgery, which would be 2- 2.5 months if we waited........and remembering that in the last 3 months it has doubled in size.....they are shooting for a schedule sometimes in the next 2 week window.......preferably end of this week.
Acro.... the beast that just keeps on giving...........
