MRIs

I had my MRIs today and the MRI Tech kept gettin after me  because I wasn't being still enough. I told him and the rest of the staff that I am extremely claustrophobic and I do not like the cage thing they had my head in nor did I like being in the tunnel. I don't mind the new open MRI machines, but this one is ancient! I think I had my very first MRI on the very same machine 30 years ago! lol They didn't seem to care and told me that I needed to quit moving or they would have to keep redoing them. I told them that I couldn't help it and that I was in a lot of pain already and laying on a board without any padding was hurting me. That didn't phase them either. I'm thinking I should report them too?? So for 3 hrs I sat in that tube, my heart about ready to jump out of my chest, my spine ready to tear open my back and my arms and hands twitching all the while being told I needed to relax! Really? Want me to relax? Give me something to help me relax, cause obviously nothing I'm doing is working! GRRR Some days I really dislike the hospital staff here. The only 2 things that this MRI tech, Dominic, did that were even remotely nice for me, 1 asked which arm I wanted the contrast injected into and 2 he said that he isn't a radiologist, but from seeing MRIs every day and comparing the one from 40 days ago to today it looks bigger. The next two days are going to be hard, at least I get my results on Friday morning.
