mr perfect vs crazy complainer
Thursday, I thought the downstairs drunken noise nonsense was over, even told the landlord so when he visited, after the landlord got a letter from the building I planned to move to---but Sunday, downstairs idiot started again, before midnight, and "only" an hour, so its time for me to give up.
The landlord with his "boise stereo" mantra, along with others in building giving that as excuse, as though downstairs drunken idiot cant control the volume. What it really boils down to, after almost 5 months of this, is that the downstairs drunken idiot is mr perfect, with the landlord around his little finger, while I've been reduced to someone always complaining about the noise.
Thursday, the manager of the new place visited 3 hours after the landlord, with me not telling either of the visits. I could have moved in December, she told me...but, the homeless cats I feed, and I didn't tell her of my not wanting to move.
The new place is tiny, but one hundred dollars less than what I'm paying now; be saving another 50 dollars by no longer having any homeless cats to feed.
Sent off Dec rent to landlord, with a 2-page typed letter of all the nonsense; one last complaint: its dumb of me to complain about stuff that cant be changed.
Drunken idiot downstairs might think its funny to get me riled up, but I'm finally gonna have the last laugh of moving; seems like its gonna be January. I even e-mailed the new apt manager at 1230 in morning, and 330, to let her know I'm now very willing to move, and why.

I know there have been many tough decisions involved here but everything you are saying now sounds very good to me. You will get used to the smaller space quickly and you will have a little more disposable income! WHOOOOTTTT!!!!
Congratulations on your decision to move. I hope this new place works out for you. Hugs Kelley
hi, TroJanThunder.
me ALWAYS day late/dollar short to think out stuff, instead of in advance---but my many mistakes of handling downstairs noise is my lemonade fate of forcing complacent-me to finally move out of my hometown.
Thanks, KelleyPaterson,
as with downstairs noise and lulls in noise, I have a roller coaster ride of thinking of new place, and moving---but right now I\'m in an optimistic mood again.
Honestly Mike I feel very good about this! I think you are going to LOVE your new place, and I can\'t wait to hear all about it!
Thanks, TroJanThunder.
It was raining an hour ago, I thought no cats be out in it---poor \'shaggy\" (I shouldn\'t have given these cats names) hiding under a window sill; I gave him two helpings of food.
I\'m trying to convince myself the cats will survive without me, or at least to con myself I\'d find a half dead cat outside if I stayed.
I did e-mail the new manager again, with her again asking if I want to move in December---but I just cant do it that quick.
the rain just changed to snow---and idiot me will probably wind up shoveling the apartment building sidewalk for free, despite the music nonsense.
I\'ve been there. Had a viciously abusive and wildly noisy neighbor in Philly. They never did anything about him, but I got the name of crazy complainer! They ended up evicting me, which was a blessing in disguise because I hated it there anyway and now live a peaceful life.
I\'m sorry, LivingWater, that you went through even worse than what I\'ve gone through...though at least we\'re not alone in having gone through such crazy stuff.
I was glad my landlord is from Philly, instead of local hillbilly---till the downstairs idiot moved in from Jersey, with a daughter going to Temple or whatever Phila college, with me, seemingly, turned into hick loudmouth.
I keep on hoping my forced move to be a blessing in disguise.
I am sure it will be.
thanks, TroJanThunder,
I\'m already wishing this was all over; once I move I can at least stop obsessing about what\'s involved with moving;)
I missed this. You\'re going to move? That is such a good thing to hear. The new place has to be better than what you\'re dealing with now. Though it\'s smaller hopefully it will be a more safer and more peaceful sanctuary for you. I\'m wishing you all the best for the move.
a late thanks, Naturegirl65
It\'s the choice of present quiet, dying, main drag of my hometown and noise from downstairs, to quiet and smaller new apt but lots of downtown traffic to town I\'ll be moving to.
